(An awareness of the body's Bioenergy for agility, flexibility, and stability of joints)
Shri Buddha Yoshi is an oriental experience centering on flexibility, joint stability, and agility. This treatment consists of stretches and joint manipulations that focus on proper ROM. This is a full body stretch treatment that borrows from many disciplines which include Thai,Balinese,Chinese and Indian. We focus on the following supportive methods:- light therapy, foot cupping, hot and cold therapy, Ashiatsu also known as Padaghata as well as Pada LaGin and the use of dry cupping where needed. At the commencement of Yoshi, you are introduced to elemental balancing that promotes harmonisation of the body's left and right hemispheres.
Hand cupping, Effleurage and Cross fibre friction soon follow inducing muscle relaxation, alleviation of pain, reduction of inflammation, reinforced joint stability and increased joint health. This treatment remedies postural imbalances and as a result, the body becomes less prone to accidental injury caused by improper body mechanics. Anyone at any age or physical condition can perform Buddha Yoshi.
This treatment is the fundamental basis of body movement that underpins coordination and balance. Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. The areas critical for mobility are in your lower extremities: your calves, your hamstrings, your hip flexors in the pelvis and quadriceps in the front of the thigh. Stretching your shoulders, neck, and lower back is also beneficial. Buddha Yoshi aims to enable the body to access all the biomagnetic energy from regular channels and this energy transforms the internal environment of the body's twelve systems. Those of us with a strong chi also have a strong life force. This vitality improves our quality of life, stamina, confidence, and positive energies that fill our environment. Those of us with a weak chi have difficulty resisting sources of negativity. These negative energies can impact our health, happiness, and overall life. As we breathe, we transform air into chi, giving it physical form. This energy becomes a part of us in our blood, bones, and skin. Our vital organs then use this energy to link the mind, body, and spirit. As chi energy reaches our brains, it impacts our dreams, emotions, and thoughts as well. In that regard, bio magnetic energy also extends beyond our physical bodies. This creates a natural rhythm throughout our bodies centred around the chi energy we breathe in and out each day. An inherent rhythmic and melodic pattern develops allowing us to attain mastery over your body's equilibrium. Once the full treatment is experienced, one usually succumbs to a meaningful realisation of self which is called Atmabodha.
